​ The Action Pistol Group of Grand Junction has a private range at the William Jarvis Shooting Sports Range Complex in Whitewater. APG has been providing firearms training in Mesa County since 2002 and offers various firearms training classes as well as an NRA Instructor Course at the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex near Palisade, CO.
   Action Pistol Group is a member of the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA), the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) and the Steel Challenge Association (SCSA) and hosts monthly local matches at the Cameo facility.
   Memberships to the APG private Whitewater Range are considered with Board member sponsorship and other criteria including match experience and select club affiliations.
